“Thank you to Devon and Cornwall housing from everyone at Exeter Young Strings for your financial support. This money is being used to help keep the costs of our chamber groups low to enable children from low incomes in the community to take part.”

Devon and Cornwall Housing Association

They own 7,000 rented homes (with PHA managing 2,000 of our general family homes in Cornwall) and 1,000 low-cost home ownership properties. They also manage 1,000 leasehold properties through our subsidiary Devon & Cornwall Leasehold Solutions.

Their sheltered and supported housing activities go across Cornwall and Devon, offering housing and support services to those including older people, young people at risk, people with mental health problems and women escaping domestic violence.

They deliver employment and training opportunities for young people through our network of six foyers in:Padstow, Bodmin, Redruth, Plymouth, Torbay and Launceston.

They also provide “care & repair” home improvement agency services across the two counties, helping older and disabled owner-occupiers adapt and maintain their homes, often with grant assistance from local councils.

They lead the Partnership South West development consortium, funded by the Housing Corporation to deliver nearly 2,000 new homes over the last three years. They are also founder members of Advantage South West, the off-site manufacturing partnership that won the Housing Corporation’s first Gold Award for innovation in procurement.
