To implement this policy

- Exeter Young Strings is committed to equality of opportunity for all members of the organisation and teaching staff.
- Exeter Young Strings will ensure that all staff are concidered strictly on merit, and strive to provide equal opportunities for work.
- Information on equal opportunites principles and practise will be given to all staff and volunteers as part of their induction process.
- Exeter Young Strings will ensure through regular review that existing policies, practises and procedures are monitored and evaluated and appropriate action taken to eliminate discriminatory practices.
- All Exeter Young Strings staff and volunteers will be encouraged to challange any person whose language or behaviour is oppressive, offensive or discriminatory.
