Repertoire - music performed by Exeter Young Strings
The music played by the various groups within EYS is, naturally, selected to match the skills of the players.
We aim to choose music that sounds wonderful, and will challenge but not overmaster the musicians within the groups. Typically we choose something from light music, film scores, light classical, suites, show music and jazz.
To give you some ideas of what you can expect to play, we have listed the pieces played by the different groups at the last concert or two.
