Why public concerts?

An essential part of being a member of Exeter Young Strings is taking part in live performance. Public concerts really help build confidence and add a certain edge to the quality.

So we welcome family, friends and members of the public to come and join with us!

Events coming soon

Here is a summary of Exeter Young Strings events for the next few months [next event first]. Each event has a link to full details: location, costs etc.

1 - Coffee Morning & Summer Fayre: Sunday, June 08, 2008

A relaxed coffee morning and Summer Fayre.  Listen to music from our children and teenagers in a relaxed environment, whilst drinking excellent FairTrade coffee and maybe eating a home-made cake or two.

We are raising money for our Exeter Young Strings Fund, so, besides the cake stall, we run a bring and buy sheet music stall, and sell Phoenix cards. The fund is to help kids from low income families who want to play a classical stringed instrument, and this is one good, enjoyable way to you to help!
