Come and support our younger children! Performances from the Mini Music Makers, Pizzicato Players, Mozart Music Makers and the St Peter’s quartet, plus solos from beginners upwards including some compositions from the children.

The Junior Young strings concert was held at South Street Baptist church. Performers were a wide range of ages and abilities but all tried their best and the result was a pleasing variety of music. After a short rehearsal, seats slowly filled with a very supportive audience who listened merrily as groups played, including the Pizzicato Players and Mozart Music Makers. We were also grateful for a contribution made by 3 older players, who performed 3 songs as well as the tunes played by the younger cellists, violinists and violists.
As well as group performances many performed solos on their instruments, all conquering their nerves and playing well individually. Finishing with drinks and snacks generously provided, the event was a huge success which both the performers and audience enjoyed.
