Coffee Morning & Summer Fayre: Sunday, June 08, 2008
A relaxed coffee morning and Summer Fayre. Listen to music from our children and teenagers in a relaxed environment, whilst drinking excellent FairTrade coffee and maybe eating a home-made cake or two.
We are raising money for our Exeter Young Strings Fund, so, besides the cake stall, we run a bring and buy sheet music stall, and sell Phoenix cards. The fund is to help kids from low income families who want to play a classical stringed instrument, and this is one good, enjoyable way to you to help!
Time: 12:00pm - 02:00pm

I like playing the cello because it’s fun. Mummy and Daddy play too. The picture is of me with my new cello.
Lowena
Old violins, unwanted cellos, unused music…

Help us to help others - we need your old instruments.
Give us your outgrown or disused fiddles, cellos, basses and violas.
Give us music stands, sheet music or anything that might be helpful for a young musician. We can use them right now!
Pre-Instrumental Training
Make your child's musical development fun! With us, they will learn basic musical concepts via games and song and activities with percussion instruments.
While they play & enjoy themselves, the children will grow in co-ordination and general aural training, without tears.

Chamber Groups
We have chamber groups for all levels of skill:
There's a group just for you! Try a free session with one and see how great they are!
Theory

Music theory does not need to be dull. Put solid understanding behind your practical playing skills.
The theory group is for any teenager or child when you are about to start the higher practical grades [grade 5+].
