Vaughn Williams wrote the Concerto Grosso in 1950 for a performance by the Rural Schools Music Association, for all levels of ability, from the very young and inexperienced to professional level.
In bringing as many young people and their families together as possible, they can access information to ensemble and performance opportunities across the county, which they might not have been aware of.
We very much hope you will be able to join us for this unique south west event, and raise awareness for all in our community about music for young people and the life skills and life long social connections with others which it brings.

If you decide to stop playing in a chamber group, we do need to be given at least three weeks notice of your cancellation before the first rehearsal of each term. A £20 fee will be charged for late cancellation. No refund is given for stopping part way through a term.
In order to maintain standards and ensure the viability of finely-balanced small ensembles, membership of an EYS chamber group includes a commitment to give scheduled EYS events including rehearsals a priority in your diary and to attend the majority of these.
